Here are some notes on this assignment:
• 8 storyboard ideas needed, of any number of frames. If you can say you're whole motion illustration in one frame, that's alright. If you want to detail it out with 20, that's fine.
• These thumbnails are not graded for quality, just count of storyboard ideas.
• Thumbnails are for you, not for the client, so it doesn't matter how detailed or sloppy they are. Mine here are extremely sloppy. This is not what I'd show the client, I'd bring it to more polished storyboards before I showed the client. Just get the idea on paper then come up with another idea. When you look at them you can see which ones deserve more thought and another pass to see if it is the best idea. Don't spend a lot of time on the detail, just get the idea down, put the detail in later when you know which one you will be working on.
• Be thinking about how the images will move. You don't want to put in complicated movements, like slowly turning the head, since that is more on the animation side, with many drawings to turn the head. Think about it like paper cut outs and how they can move.
