Criteria
Concept Artwork
- drawings of the piece(s) from 2+ different views
- 1+ rendering(s) in color
3D Illustration
- Low-poly model(s) with efficient, “clean” geometry
- Hand-illustrated textures applied to all surfaces
- Maya-compatible 3D file with textures in TGA format
- Appropriately-lighted rendering of final 3D artwork
Due Dates
- March 4: Rough Concept Sketches Due (5+ different ideas)
- March 6: Finished Concept Sketches Due (2+ different views)
- March 13: Color Rendering of Concept Artwork Due (1+ view in color)
- March 27: Rough 3D Model(s) & Rough Textures Due
- April 8: Textured 3D Model(s) Due
- April 19: FINAL — Revised 3D Art and Renders Due
